Educational Off-takes

Some brief educational off-takes from an adult education documentary I made, that interviewed Margaret Mahy the famous author of children books such as “A Lion in the Meadow” dealt with imagination/creativity and contrasted this with causes of disillusionment.

It touched on youth suicide and provided at the time an avante-garde background to the problems of disempowerment - delivered by Steve Waikaua. The playing in sandpits with dozers or getting dressed in fashionable outfits (played up by Rima) were kind of charms to be cast light into dark corners.
